Why fans root against Todrick Hall

Famous Big Brother house guest Todrick Hall has been playing hard in the house, but some of his comments don’t sit well with fans.

There are several Celebrity Big Brother 3 competitors in the running for America’s Favorite Houseguest, but Todrick Hall is not one of them. Todrick is a multi-hyphenated entertainer: a singer, dancer, choreographer and YouTuber. He was introduced to the public as a participant on american idol in 2009 and has built a successful career. In addition to his YouTube fame and appearances on RuPaul’s Drag RaceTodrick is known for his contributions to Taylor Swift music videos”Look what you made me do” and “You need to calm down‘, as well as for notable controversies related to his business practices and statements on social media.

Todrick is no stranger to the Big Brother world. He made his fandom of the show known after Big Brother 23 when he hosted several cast members at his Hollywood mansion weeks after the season ended. Some fans and alumni even jokingly referred to Todrick’s 10,000-square-foot home as the “Half way home Big BrotherDuring this time, Todrick befriended notable contestants such as Tiffany Mitchell, Hannah Chaddha, and Kyland Young and even hosted Big Brother podcaster Taran Armstrong at one point. When Celebrity Big Brother 3 was announced in the fall of 2021, Todrick was already considered a slot to appear thanks to his connections with BB23

Unfortunately for Todrick, any goodwill fans had towards him almost completely evaporated during the season. Although he played quite a dominant game in the early part of the game forming a band with UFC fighter Miesha Tate, he soon started to mislead viewers. Todrick’s palpable hatred for NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick has sparked much protest from live feed viewers, who have characterized some of Todrick’s statements to and about Chris as self-centered, mean and delusional. Todrick personally took offense at Chris’s strategic play, which mainly consisted of Chris pointing out to other house guests that Todrick was a strategic threat, and started a hate campaign against Chris. †I literally want to find my social media person and tell him to block his ass on Instagram before I leave this house,‘ Todrick commented about Chris.

Part of Todrick’s campaign against Chris involved defending his spending choices and planning to spend his suspected spending CBB prize money. †(Chris) talks about everyone in the house talking about how I almost bought the Wicked Witch’s hat for $250,000,Todrick began, referring to his desire to buy a piece of memorabilia from… The Wizard of Oz† †I have worked very, very hard to earn the millions of dollars that I have made. I’m not going to feel bad buying nice things.“Some fans have seen Todrick show off his wealth because of the witch hat discussion and because he makes comments that some see as bragging about the size of his house and the amount of money he’s made.”Everyone else has made millions of dollars working far less than I’ve had to work,Todrick stated on the feeds.

It doesn’t help Todrick’s case with the fans that he’s positioned on the opposite side of the house from current fan favorites. Carson Kressley, Shanna Moakler and Lamar Odom have both talked about putting him out for eviction. Todrick has an uphill battle ahead of him to win the match, especially since the judges, including Chris Kirkpatrick, have access to the Celebrities Big Brother episodes and live feeds before casting their vote to determine a winner.
