Model and reality TV star Cynthia Bailey now joins CBB3 as one of 11 celebrities on the show for the $250,000 top prize. However, she had a long journey on reality TV as one of the cast members of RHOA.
Cynthia made her TV debut in the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 3 cast. She starred in the series alongside OG cast members Nene Leakes, Shereé Whitfield, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Kandi Burruss, and Phaedra Parks. Over the years, Cynthia saw many casting changes on RHOA and survived all of her original season 3 costars on the show. Unfortunately, Cynthia shocked the Real housewives fans when she announced she was leaving the franchise after RHOA season 13.
In an interview with E! told Cynthia how bittersweet it felt to have to make the decision to leave The Real Housewives of Atlanta behind her. ‘I’m happy, but sad at the same time’ she explained, “It’s almost like, ‘What in the world, how have I been doing this for 11 years?'” Cynthia also shared how challenging it was always to do RHOA, showing that she’d thought about quitting the show several times before. During the interview, Cynthia told Bravo that her a… “friend” roll for RHOA season 14, and she initially considered it. But in the end she felt it was better to just… “cut the wire.”
Now 54-year-old Cynthia comes in Celebrity Big Brother 3 to play the game and potentially take home $250,000 if they get the . leaves Big Brother home as this season’s winner. As shown on RHOACynthia began dating Fox Sports host Mike Hill in 2018. Cynthia and Mike got engaged in 2019 and then tied the knot in 2020. Rumor has it that this new relationship was another reason Cynthia was attracted to leaving. RHOA. Fans speculated that from then on Cynthia wanted to focus on her new marriage and the life they would build together.
