Whatever the show has in store, McGregor himself believes the story will be well received by fans when it finally makes its way to Disney+. He told Forbes

“I’m not going to divulge anything further about the storyline, just I think it will really satisfy Star Wars fans. I’ve always felt that there was a story between Episode III, where I was done playing Obi-Wan in the movies and Episode IV where Alec Guinness is Obi-Wan Kenobi [Obi-Wan Kenobi series] writers and Deb [Chow] and me and everybody, i think we made a really nice storyline or made them. What is known is that Hayden Christensen will return as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, opening up the possibility for an epic lightsaber duel between Kenobi and his old student.

Seeing Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin/Vader fighting on screen again would be very satisfying indeed Star Wars fans.
