Breath of the Wild 2 Trailers Reinterpreted by Hero Forge Minis

A player looking forward to the release of Breath of the Wild 2 has released a series of custom Hero Forge Minis to recreate BOTW2 videos.

A gamer anticipating the release of Breath of the Wild 2 has broken out with a series of custom Hero Forge Minis based on the minimal information provided by the game’s trailers and teasers. Hero Forge is an online service that allows users to customize their own figurines directly through their browser. The service allows for a lot of personalization, with a number of base models, equipment sets and other cosmetics available.

For a game coming out sometime this year, the gaming community knows surprisingly little about the sequel to Breath of the Wild† for one thing, BOTW 2The game’s official title has yet to be revealed as the developers have stated that it could spoil the experience prior to the game’s release. A few things are of course known, such as the fact that this game will take place after the events of Breath of the Wild, that new magic spells will be introduced and that a new layer of Hyrule appears to rest on the clouds. By Breath of the Wild 2s trailers, fans can also make some additional comments. For example, it looks like Ganon will reappear, though it’s still unclear what his form and overall role as an antagonist will be. It looks like Link will also have more options to take advantage of, as evidenced by some gameplay footage and the appearance of some sort of complex mechanism on his arm. Still, much of what fans have to rely on are just iconography and visual cues.

As it turns out, this sparse knowledge can be just as exciting for many fans, as evidenced by Reddit user CarlofTellus, who recently posted some images of BOTW 2 trailer-inspired Hero Forge Minis. Rather than being mere recreations of images displayed in Breath of the Wild 2s story and gameplay trailers, but this sequence of images serves as an interpretation of the events of the game’s world, with Ganon imprisoned and later empowered, ultimately cursing Link. These images appear to have been created within the Hero Forge program itself, so they are not images of actual figures.

These Hero Forge figures are just further proof of how long this upcoming one has been anticipated Zelda game. Breath of the Wild served as a big shock to the Zelda formula, so the sequel definitely has some big shoes to fill. Dedicated fans like CarlofTellus will no doubt watch with bated breath to see if their interpretations are correct.

It’s hard to say what kind of game Breath of the Wild 2s trailers are pictured. Breath of the Wild ended with Link and Zelda shutting down Ganon and restoring peace to Hyrule, but it seems that peace was short-lived. CarlofTellus, along with others Zelda fans, will have to wait until Breath of the Wild 2 comes out to see if the story lives up to all the hype.
