Arceus after collecting 107 strings

Trainers will be asked to find 107 Wisps in Hisui early in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but what happens when they collect them all?

if Pokemon Legends: Arceus players investigate Hisui on their quest to capture every Pokémon in the region, they will encounter 107 Wisps hidden in each area as part of the “Eerie Apparitions in the Night” request. This request is one of the most complicated tasks for Trainers to take on, exploring every nook and cranny of the Hisui region, but if they find every wisp, they may encounter a rare Pokémon to fill their Pokédex. Wisps are floating balls of purple flames that glow brightly in the dark and only appear at night so players can see them from a distance while exploring after sunset in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

After calming Lord Kleavor and returning to their abode in Jubilife Village, Trainers are stopped by an NPC named Vessa, who will ask for their help to seal an ancient evil. She gives them an Odd Keystone and asks them to find all 107 Wisps in it Legends: Arceus before pointing them to the first, which floats by a tree by the river. Vessa doesn’t explain much about her Request or the ancient evil that apparently poses a major threat to Hisui, but she can be found by the river when players want to check their progress.

There are 20 wisps in every key area of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and the last 7 can be found in Jubilife Village. Using the flying mountain Hisuian Braviary to search for Wisps from above can make it much easier to track them down, but some of these mysterious flames are tucked away in caves and crevices and require a little more exploration to discover them. Once players have collected all 107 in the Odd Keystone, they can head back to Jubilife Village to talk to Vessa and complete the request.

How to find Spiritomb in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Trainers will encounter Spiritomb after collecting all 107 Wisps in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Players can find Vessa in her usual spot in Jubilife Village once they enter all 107 Wisps Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and she gives them all the rewards they didn’t get during the quest. She will ask the player to meet her at the Shrouded Ruins at the same time of day as when they first met, so players will have to wait until nightfall before meeting her there. The Shrouded Ruins are located in the Crimson Mirelands, just east of the Brava Arena waypoint, and players will find a large version of the Odd Keystone on the east side of the Ruins. There, Vessa will appear and reveal that she has one last Wisp, making a total of 108.

Vessa will disappear, leaving behind the last Wisp they can collect next to the Odd Keystone. Once players touch it, they will encounter Spiritomb, the Forbidden Pokémon, a powerful Ghost/Dark-Type that is said to be composed of 108 vengeful spirits. With this unique evil Pokémon added to their Pokédex, players get one step closer to meeting each individual Pokémon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
