‘The Whale’: Brendan Fraser to Lead Darren Aronofsky’s Next Movie,2021

A new Darren Aronofsky movie is coming up and it sounds really fun. Aronofsky is teaming up with A24 to recreate the 2012 play The Whale which was written by Samuel D Hunter who is going to write the screenplay. And as per Deadline, Brendan Fraser is all set to go for it. If we talk about the synopsis of The Whale, If that doesn’t sound perfectly up Aronofsky alley. The filmmaker who woned Oscar, behind Requiem for a Dream Black Swan and Noah most recently helmed the drama mother, which was a stripped-down adaptation of The Bible. It looks like he is maintaining that stripped-down aesthetic for his next feature and he seems like a perfect fit for this specifically intimate story.

After hitting it big in the 90s with the Mummy and other comedy movies to Fraser’s career stock. And we cannot wait to see what he and Aronofsky put magic in here. Fraser is a very versatile actor who has been away from the spotlight for far too long and also it is not that hard to think of a Wrestler style awards campaign being combined for this one-man show. It is unclear exactly when the production of the show might begin but this is being poised to be Aronfosky’s next movie.
