Kevin Feige Confirms ‘Deadpool 3’ Is an MCU Movie; Teases R-Rating and When It’s Filming.

There were a lot of questions that arose when Disney bought 20th-century fox but a big question is what is the future of the Deadpool franchise. Only a few years ago the low-budget, R-rated superhero movie paid off for Fox in a big way, becoming its most prized superhero property. The sequel was lit but the victory lap was short loved as Disney swooped in and Fox’s future Deadpool plans were on hold. Clearly, Disney wouldn’t give away a franchise and character as valuable as Deadpool but there will be questions regarding how the R-rated property would fit into the exclusively PG 13 box of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But it turned out pretty nice.

It is true that when Deadpool 3 happens this won’t be as some comedy scenes. Ryan Reynolds’ foul-mounted mercenary is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he will be keeping his R rating. Feige said sisters Lizzie Molyneux Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux are hard at work on the script with Reynolds review, but Deadpool 3 shooting is not going to begin until 2022 at the earliest. This is an exciting update. Feige and co have a lot of projects production-wise as they are planning to shoot Thor 4 and Spiderman 3 and also they are planning to film Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2, and Captain Marvel 2.
