Kevin Feige who is the president of Marvel studios has confirmed that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be connected to the untitled Spider-Man 3. It was recently informed that The Doctor Strange sequel which is directed by Sam Raimi is going to get back Benedict Cumberbatch in the upcoming third part of Spider-Man. It is announced officially at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of madness is ready to explore the existence of MCU’s alternate dimensions. It is also reported that Multiverse will play an important role in the third Spider-Man. Before, it has been confirmed that Disney+ shows such as Loki and WandaVision have been interlinked to the sequel with Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is ready to appear. But recently, it has disclosed that it is also connected to another MCU movie in the untitled Spider-Man 3. The third part of Spider-Man currently has its production in Atlanta and Georgia which means the work on it and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is overlaying.
Whether or not Cumberbatch actually shows up in the film is currently unconfirmed, but Feige’s latest announcement convinces fans all the more that this will be the case. MCU architect Kevin Feige appeared at Disney’s Investor Day presentation and announced that the production of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness production is in full swing in London. The questions arise in the mind of the fans what will happen to the storyline set up at the end of the Far From Home where Spider-Man’s own identity has been outed? The multiverse is already a complicated concept to tackle and introducing any other subplots could lead to a stuffed film that is convoluted and not good. This is something that Marvel Studios and Sony should be cautious about.
