Frank Grillo Recalls ‘Winter Soldier’ & How Scarlett Johansson Pushed Him to Do a Dangerous Stunts,2021

Frank Grillo is not that kind of guy who shies away from dangerous stunts. The actor is best known for his personality and intimidating physique and has also starred in a number of action movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier and its sequel Captain America: Civil War. And while Grillo admits that being ready for just about anything here were some stunts he has done in his career that he tuned down also including a big sequence in The Winter Soldier.

In an interview, Frank Grillo said that the hit 2014 MCU movie and his role as Brock Rumlow also known as Crossbones who is a well-known villain from Captain America comics. The movie has the opening scene which shows particularly impressive stunts that Frank Grillo refused to do at the beginning but his costar Scarlett Johansson pushed him to do so. Frank Grillo also shared a similar story about the filming of David Ayer’s crime thriller End of Watch when Jake Gyllenhaal decided to do something different which can benefit his character. Frank Grillo also admits that he is more comfortable doing traditional rough and tumble stunts and says, “Mostly I just fight Mostly I’ll do all my own fighting, I’ll do all my own driving as long as I am not driving off something. I try not to jump too much I don’t like jumping off things”.
