Miracles do happen! After 9 days alone and lost in the woods in the Stevens Pass area, Gia Fuda was found alive by Search and Rescue crews on Saturday August 1st. Gia went missing after her car ran out of gas along the highway. Gia was transported to a local hospital for treatment for scrapes, cuts and dehydration.

Why was Gia Fuda in the woods?
The teen’s father, Bob Fuda, told NBC 5 that she ran out of gas in a remote area that didn’t have cellphone reception. She began walking in an attempt to get reception on her phone and ended up lost in the woods. There’s no reception up there, so she was going to get reception or help.
Has GIA Fuda been found?
It was an ordeal that left Ms. Fuda’s parents aching at the unknown as hundreds of search and rescue volunteers tried to find her. On Saturday, Ms. Fuda was finally found alive, with scrapes, scratches and bug bites.

According to Deadline, Woods, 27, vanished while working on Discovery’s Gold Rush franchise in Idaho County, Idaho, on October 5, 2018. The shoot involved filming a spin-off called Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine in Penman Mine, a deserted gold mine. The location was surrounded by jagged terrain.
