Terminator: Dark Fate actor Gabriel Luna is now the latest actor in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us, according to Variety. In this series, we also see Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie respectively where Luna is the Younger brother of Joel.
In Naughty Dog’s video game seres a fungal infection turns human into aggressive zombie creature which is known as infected. And the game jumps to 20 years later where the survivors are living in quarantine zones. they are fighting back against this military oppression throughout the US are the fireflies which is a military group that is in search of the cure to the infection. As The Last of Us story mainly focuses on Joel trying to bring the Nile to a group of fireflies this pair spends a large chunk of the first game traversing the country to find Tommy who is a former Firefly.
It is not clear that how HBO’s The Last of Us will keep showing the story games and Tommy is an integral part of both The Last of Us and Last year’s sequel The Last of Us Part 2, where Neil Druckman was the writer and creative director of The Last of Us. While it is not clear that when The Last of Us will premiere on HBO, filming is scheduled to begin this July, and won’t wrap until June of 2022.
