‘Soul’ Filmmaker Peter Docter’s Chances of Directing a New Pixar Movie Are Low,he is the new CCO in 2021?

The movie Soul is out now on Disney+ and has already won peoples’ hearts. This is a story of a middle school band teacher, Joe Gardner who unfortunately lost his life on the evening of his big break, Soul has been celebrated for its imagination and the grandness of its ideas. This imagination mainly comes from the mind of director and co-screenwriter Pete Docter, who also wrote Up and Inside Out and also WALL.E. He is also now the Chief Creative Officer for the studio previously John Lasseter was in that position. In a truly wonderful profile over at the Hollywood Reporter, Docter is very open and honest about his trepidation before accepting his new role to lead the company and pulling away from his work as a filmmaker. Docter may also be resigned to the fact that he is running the studio, and maybe he is not going to direct features anymore.

He told “The CCO job is not making films”,” It’s guiding other people. I was initially worried that it would be like a tax taking me away from what I really loved.
