It was really confusing when focus Features decided to give Promising Young woman a theatrical release on Christmas when it was clear that theaters will not be open and the movie can suffer to engage lots of audiences. But it seems like perhaps they got the confidence by building the buzz on one of the 2020’s best movies.

A press release of Focus Features says that Promising Young Woman will be available at home demand for 48 hours rental on January 15th. The movie Promising Young Woman is filled with twists and turns. Focus Features now wants to reach as many people as possible without damaging its revenue potential. Since releasing a film in January is kinda wasteland for a film there is also a good opportunity for people to give the film a rental and see what everyone is thinking about. There is no information about the pricing yet but I assume it will be a Premium VOD release with a $19.99 rental fee. This may seem to be very costly but keep in mind that is basically the cost of two movie tickets now you can see this at home without spending any money for the transportation to watch the movie in the theaters. stay safe watch Promising Young Woman.
