Can you stack Gobe ND filters?
They are mounted with adapters that mount to the lens and allow the square lenses to be slid in to slots on the mount. Nearly all types of square filter mounts allow for stacking up to 3 filters, as well as adding a circular polarizing filter, allowing for great flexibility.
What is ND 1000 filter?
The ND1000 is a 10 stop filter meaning a long exposure which can result in some great artistic shots being produced. Being 10 stop allows us to reduce the shutter speed to the 1-20 second range depending on the size of the aperture we can want for that shot.
What does peak mean in UV filters?
1 peak and 2 peak CPL filters are both made from Japan Optics Glass. The only difference between the two is the number of nano-coating layers. 1 peak filters have 12 layers while 2 peak filters have 16. The more nano-coating layers the better the protection against scratches, dust, and dirt.

Why is ND filter so expensive?

Can I use polarizer filter at night?
Night shooting When you’re photographing at night, you want to get as much light as possible into your lens. A polarizer is going to reduce the amount of light and force you to use a longer shutter speed or a higher ISO setting. So if you’re shooting in the dark, do yourself a favor and remove the polarizer.
Can I use UV filter and polarizer together?
Never use them together. As others have mentioned, the UV filter adds nothing when you’re using a polarizer. Every filter degrades the images slightly, and stacking them increases the possibility of vignetting.
