Alfred Molina is back to the Spidey-verse. The versatile actor who did an evil role of Doctor Octopus in Tobey Maguire’s 2004 ‘Spider-Man’ sequel is representing his role in the third installment of the Tom Holland-led superhero blockbuster. In the upcoming adventure, it has been announced that it is going to feature its multiple generations actors of Spider-Man. Jamie Foxx will appear as Electro, a villain he first played opposite Andrew Garfield in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” The third Spider-Man will be again directed by Jon Watts and it will be written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. From the first two Holland-led Spider-Man movies, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and Jacob Batalon are reiterating their roles. Sony has decided to release this movie on December 17, 2021.

The first-ever solo outing of Holland’s as Spidey was in 2017’s movie “Spider-Man: Homecoming”. After that, he appeared in the movie like ‘Avengers’ before going back to the spotlight in 2019’s “Spider-Man: Far From Home.” He was so strong and financially achieved a great success by enormous funds with the first generating more than $880 million globally and the second surpassing the coveted $1 billion milestones. Before Holland dressed up the Spider-Man’s blue and red suit, Maguire represented Spider-Man from 2001-2007 in a comic book by director Sam Raimi. Further, Garfield considered a separate suit in 2012’s “The Amazing Spider-Man” and the 2014 sequel both of which were directed by Marc Webb. Holland’s character is the only version to appear in the Disney-owned MCU.
