The Jersey Devil Coaster was closed again on Friday August 6, 2021 after a call was made to Six Flags Great Adventure from ride manufacturer RMC. The actual issue wasn’t with The Jersey Devil Coaster itself but due to an expected malfunction with one of the trains on Stunt Pilot at Silverwood on Friday.

In 1989, two boys leaped out of the Logger’s Run ride, also at California’s Great America. One of the boys died. Certainly, blame cannot be leveled at the park for this incident. Unfortunately, the navet of young and foolishly adventurous boys was responsible for this tragic event.
