The two got into a heated argument, and when Julia decided to leave, she was hit by a car while riding her bike. The impact killed her and as a result, ended their relationship. Julia’s death haunted Eli, and caused him to begin hoarding objects in his room to deal with his grief as he blamed himself for her death.

Shortly after they rekindled their relationship in season 12, Bianca accepted Drew’s proposal of marriage. Despite the fact that Drew had to repeat his senior year at Degrassi while Bianca had graduated, they promised to remain committed to each other.
